That’s why “Explosive Care” is for your body and your lifestyle. Let’s explore why “Explosive Care” in the next few paragraphs and then let me end up giving you some helpful tips as we explore more of you and what you really are secretly looking for in your care.
These past couple of years have taught many of us so much in so many ways about ourselves. We’ve learned about working from home, taking care of the family we live with, taking care of extended family, how to maximize our time and safety, how much our significant other does, what our priorities were and what they should be now.
Some of us have finally had time to learn some new things like; how to cook, a new language, how to lean into our career at a different level whether that’s more or a little less. We’ve learned what really matters, how to make the most out of what you have, how to plant a garden, spend time with the kids/spouse/friends, clean out the house, clean up the house, how to exercise at home, find a video on youtube to support any view you have which was surprising for some people.
We Have Learned We Have Enough
We have also learned we have enough “stuff”, we don’t need any more drama, what a family game night looks like, how to play a game of monopoly, chess, clue or other board games with our family over zoom, how to celebrate birthdays as a drive-by, small victories are really big victories in the scheme of things, yes sometimes plans don’t work out, and lastly, as the biggest and most important lesson we’ve learned is we did a bad job with taking care of ourselves and “WE NEED TO TAKE EXPLOSIVE CARE OF OUR BODIES!”
Now hear me out a second on the term “Explosive Care”. If we have learned anything over the past two years it’s that we aren’t as healthy as we thought we were. By the way, this is silently not a surprise to us.
We’ve spent more time in the past two years eating, sitting, and sleeping than we ever have before. Our bottoms and bellies have grown larger and our health overall has gone down at record speeds and to record low levels. We can no longer pretend a condition will go away, nor can we pretend that it won’t affect our health, or that we are in superb shape internally when clearly we aren’t.
A lot of us just know we are a ticking time bomb, but we are secretly afraid of that painful moment when we find out the reality that will challenge us to re-think and re-direct our minds to could-haves, would-haves, and should-haves.
We know we will wish we had another chance to go back a point in time to when it wasn’t an issue and take care of ourselves at a higher level and create better outcomes. We made excuses about ourselves to ourselves and to others who sadly agreed with us and made us feel as if the low state we are in is normal.
We Are Buying A Lie
We are buying a lie. It’s the thought that creeps in as you are smoking the cigarette or cigar, drinking the alcohol, eating the candy and cookies, the chips and all that bread, fast food, and baked goods that were not such a big part of your life before.
It’s the thought that you can just starve yourself and get things under control which is actually just eroding muscle, or damaging other organs. Then, we do something drastic to look good for a special occasion and then the whole teetering house of cards falls apart after the occasion and you end up feeling twice as bad and look pathetic.
Worse yet, you never reached the goal because of being older and more worn down than you were before. While all along the problem you thought you had ends up not being the problem you really had but you tried your hardest to solve this on your own because of fear.
In your head, you think you’re still 25 and can get yourself out of it with a few good days of watching what you eat or don’t eat and exercising a couple of times, but the untold reality is you can’t see the inside of you and truth be told you really don’t know what’s lurking, and its the silent lurking that you are choosing to stuff into a corner of your mind.

Beginning with the first question about helping yourself today. One of the best things I believe you can do today is to just pick one thing to actually get real with yourself about and understand there are ways to begin helping yourself. How about for instance you make the commitment to drink more water.
I know this may not seem big but to your body it’s huge. I don’t care if it’s just ½ a glass more today, just do it! Maybe you are too sedentary (yes who isn’t) so maybe you decide that instead of clicking on the TV after dinner you will delay that by 30 minutes because you are going to do just one small task before you sit down.
How about just setting aside 10 minutes to read a day? If you do any of those things you are on the way to what you could have. Next “Where could you, would you and should you look for this care?” (not sure if this part should be general or self-promotional) Thirdly “where can you learn about this care?” this is the easiest part.
